AI Transparency Notice

Last updated 27 October 2026 | Version 2026-10-27

FitWear uses generative artificial intelligence. We tell you clearly when content is created by AI, in line with transparency rules such as Article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act.

1. What the AI does

The try-on takes your photo and a product photo of the shop and generates a new, realistic-looking image of you wearing the product. The image is synthetic: it is generated by an AI model and is not a photograph of you wearing the item.

2. Which models

  • Muse Image (by Meta Platforms) via the Meta Model API.
  • The same model via fal.ai as a backup.

We may change models to improve quality or availability; this page is updated when we do.

3. How AI content is marked

  • The try-on window states that the images are created by AI before you start.
  • Generated images may carry technical marks of their origin added by the AI provider.
  • Shops must not present generated images as real photographs.

4. Limits of the AI

  • Size, fit, drape, colour and texture can differ from reality.
  • Faces, hair, hands or body proportions can be changed or imperfect.
  • The AI can refuse photos automatically for safety reasons.
  • Results can differ when you try the same photo again.

5. No automated decisions about you

The AI only creates images. It does not make decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Report a problem

If a generated image is offensive, wrong or misused, write to [email protected] with the link or the shop and time.
